I headed home again last weekend to have my dad finalize some dental work on my teeth he had started over a month ago.
I am soooo lucky to have a dad as a dentist.
Luckily, I just happened to be there for Andrew's prom. and my mom just happened to be chaperoning, which means. . . I got to be a chaperone. My brother and his beautiful and very sweet girlfriend Allison have been dating for a while now (two years at least? right mom?), and they looked like super models at the prom. Check out these amazing pics I took on my crappy little camera:
Love Andrew's Cheese smile in that last picture.
Here they are coming off the bridge after senior call-outs (Allison is a senior and Andrew is a junior)
and yes, I was pretty much taking pictures of them through the bushes here. heh.
The best part about the evening is that Andrew is such a sweet and wonderful brother. Instead of being embarrassed that mom and I were there, he just came up and gave me a huge hug. He's the best.
I was also very fortunate over the weekend to be able to spend some much needed quality time with Tino, my Matron of Honor. Luckily, she lives in Mobile, which is about a 30 minute drive from my Dad's office in Daphne.
We had a gen-u-ine slumber party. After a wonderful dinner at The Bicycle Shop (contemporary mexican-definitely try their tacos and/or quacamole), we had to make one key pit stop on our way home. The hot donuts light was on!!
And of course we had to take a few pictures!!
Needless to say, we had an eventful evening. 🙂
I am very excited to start blogging a bit about wedding planning. Yesterday i handed out/mailed official Friends of Honor (aka bridesmaids) kits, and I can't wait to blog about them (but I need to wait until everyone has theirs). Til then, here's a sneak peak:
stay tuned for cute kai pics of the week!
