Now that I'm trying to blog more I've been taking pictures of some of my favorite spots in San Francisco. If you don't live here start a list for when you come visit me. 🙂 Here we go:
1) Sweet Happy Hour Spot: Gold Dust
This small saloon bar feels like you've stepped into the old west. It's charming and sometimes smells like tourists. but in a bad way that somehow you still like. The cocktail waitresses are fast, and there's always great people watching to be had here. Shoot for the semi-circle booth all the way in the back.
Huge Plus: $3.50 Champagne. So. good.
This is the perfect place to go to if you're downtown shopping and looking for a fun place to grab a quick drink.
2) Best Japanese Lunch Spot near my work: Umi
This place is legit. The food is good and comes out fast. The staff are the nicest.
So. Good. Looking for a lunch spot in Potrero? Check this place out.
3) I. Love. Brunch. It's my favorite.
Soooo I eat a lot of brunches at lots of places. San Fran is a high-quality brunch'n city.
Slow Club is an all around tasty restaurant for any meal. Viet and I have been there a few times and loved everything. It's a few blocks from our house. We were very excited to check out their brunch, so we scooter over on Sunday.
4) A special dinner gem in the Mission: St. Francis Diner
One Word: Shakes. realllllly good ones in a wide variety of flavors.
and the cheeseburgers aren't too bad either. 🙂
Have you tried any of these spots? What'd you think?
