My mom arrived Saturday morning in typical mom fashion–full of energy and very well coordinated:
Lisa, Bridget and I picked her up and then we were on our way to the biggest little city in the world. Let me just sum up our trip for you: We took Reno by storm.
And when I say we took Reno by storm I mean we literally brought a snow storm with us.
folks. we're talking about a snow storm. Chains and all. Over Memorial Day weekend!!
We finally made it to Reno, where the snow warmed to rain. Then we changed our clothes and got ready to play.
We stayed at the Silver Legacy and had an amazing dinner at Sterlings restaurant. We spent the first night gambling, dancing in the club, and gambling some more. Within the first HOUR, my mother had won $1,752.99. I kid you NOT. She is such a baller. and she didn't stop there. She. just. kept. winning. I'm not exaggerating.
Let me just pause to say: my mom is so frickin cool. She's fun and funny. She's such a great person to be around, and she brings so much joy wherever she goes. I miss her dearly. I am very, very lucky to have such an amazing mom.
The next day we had an amazing brunch at Sterlings and then headed to Siena to play a bit more.
We had dinner at Da Vinci in Siena. SO GOOD.
beautiful view out our window.

Give me some space for both my hands, hands, hands, hands. . . To Be Continued.
