Usually, my favorite things about April are blooming flowers, Easter egg hunts (!), and the first BBQs of the year.
This year, it's a different sort of April. and my favorite things are just a little different this year. This April, we are knee deep in glue sticks, paint brushes, and glitter.
and I am feeling grateful. If you missed my world stopping moment from last week, read this.
So this month, I'm committing to staying grateful.
And if March was a planning Month, April is all about doing. celebrating. being.
In March I committed to some fun, big things. Some I knocked out of the park and some I just wasn't able to make time for. Here are my successes:
>I took lots of pictures. and I definitely filled up memory cards. I'm loving capturing all my daily moments.
>We made the invites happen! Printed. Purchased. and Stamped!
>I definitely tackled some major wedding to-dos.
>We cooked more. Lots of vegetables. slowly we're getting better.
>Melting down. We yoga'd. We climbed. I even trimmed off a few lbs.
>I definitely soaked up all the Green goodness this month.
In April I commit to:
>Be Grateful for each day. Life is too short friends. I'm going to think of more ways that I can be grateful for each. and. every. day.
>Wait did I say, Be Grateful? Yep. Times 2 for my amazing friends and family, who have done so much to help me celebrate and get ready for this wedding. I am so very grateful for them, and I need to make sure I don't take them for granted.
>Recover from the accident, and get back on the wall. back in the gym. back in health. That means I need to focus and rest and recuperate.
>Print. photos. I failed at this last month, so I'm recommitting. One way or another, I need to make this happen.
>Celebrate! Seriously! With my bachelorette party and my first Bridal shower happening this month, I amready to celebrate!
>Slow down. I know the next two months are going to happen so quickly, so party of being grateful for my friends, family and each day, means taking in the moments as slowly as I can.
What are you focusing on this month?
Keeping it Real,
