Once dinner was served, Viet's best man Dante kicked off the speeches, followed by my matron of honor Tino:
They were absolutely perfect. Both made me laugh and tear up. We are lucky to have such amazing friends in our lives.
My dad's speech came last. I don't have the words to describe how much my dad's speech meant to me. It was funny and touching and wonderful.
I'm so glad we have all the speeches on video.
After the speeches, we walked around to as many of the tables as we could.
As the sun went down, the lighting and all the candles really made the room look so soft and romantic. It was truly magical.
Before we knew it, it was time to cut the cakes. We had two cakes, one larger more traditional wedding cake and Viet's grooms cake (the bat symbol!).
The bigger cake was on our dessert table, which was a huge hit. We filled the table with all of our favorite things: sour patch kids, dark chocolate covered pretzels, macarons, m&ms, rock candy, and soo much more:
In case you missed it, Our cake toppers were NINJAS:
Our cakes (made by Christina at Occassional Cakes) were delicious. I still maintain that one of my greatest regrets from our wedding day was that I didn't get to eat more cake!
The pictures that Ashley took during our cake cutting are some of my favorite pictures of the day. We were so happy and you can really see that in these pictures:
Thanks so much for sticking with me throughout all of these recaps. We've only got a few more left.
