Oh what a week. I know it is actually Fall because it's October, but here in San Francisco we have been smack dab in Indian Summer. I'm talking 80 degrees, windows open, dresses and flip flops here.
These are my favorite things this week:
+sunshine (thank you San Francisco Indian Summer)
+SF GIANTS!! I'm rooting for an A's and Giants World Series. Also Roll Tide. Keep it up.
+Fall TV: specifically Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice and Revenge. Love.
+Pumpkins! They are everywhere, and we are brainstorming carving options. I can't wait to get my hands on one.
Wacom!I got a brand new Wacom tablet last week, which is this really cool tool that allows you to write on photos and other files in your own handwriting.
+Elise's posts from this week as usual, especially her quilting challenge (I'm seriously thinking about joining!) and her post on how she deals with her personal life on the blog.
+the first half of Blog, Inc. It's very good so far.
+Warm & Fozzy (my favorite fall polish) is back!
+Poco Dolce. I love this local San Francisco Chocolatier. It's not cheap. Not at all. But I love it so much, especially the chocolate almond sqaures. I bought boxes of these chocolates as gifts for my bridemaids bruncheon, and I brought a large box of them with us on our honeymoon. Last weekend we found a local grocery store on Valencia had the singles, and I got so excited. Viet and I have a deal where I eat 2/3 of the square and leave him the final 3rd. Quite a deal. :)
These are all the little things that I am grateful for this week.

On a very personal note, I'm also grateful for a big thing this week.
We are up in Napa today celebrating the life of an incredible man (Viet's uncle) who lived a full, rich life. I am honored to have known him and to be a part of his family, and I'm so grateful that he welcomed me with such open arms. He will not be forgotten, and I know his legacy of love and kindness will live on with his family.
with love,
Mere
