As fall approaches (even thought it's supposed to be 80 this week in SF), I have been craving returning to knitting. Today I heard about this awesome site Kollabora, and they had some really cool knitting, sewing, and jewelrymaking projects.
These are some of their knitting projects that have caught my eye.
+I love cowls! They are sooo much better than regular scarfs. This one looks easy and beautiful.
The pattern for this beautiful cowl can be purchased on Kollabora for $2.99 here.
+Sweater! I've never had the cajones to knit a sweater, but this one seems easier than the average sweater (probably thanks to all the big holes). I'm in!
The instructions for this project can be downloaded from Kollabora here.
I'm also loving two excellent projects from one of my favorite knitting books: More Last-Minute Knitted Gifts:
This beautiful big lacy scarf (doesn't this look soft and cozy?!):
and these awesome coffee cup sleeves! I totally want to make these. I think they would be fast and easy.
I want to make all of the socks in this book.
One of my other favorite knitting blogs is the Purl bee. I could literally spend hours on this site. I want to go to New York just so I can go to their shop.
I love this beret pattern:
ohh and isn't this beautiful baby blanket!
Do you knit? Do you want to? What are the knitting projects that have been on your mind lately?
