Apparently mid-November is a gorgeous time to visit Austin.
The weather was in the mid-70s. In addition to getting some key quality time with our friends and eating a lot (if your missed part 1 of my recaps, check out the tasty eats we had here), there were so many fun things to do.
We spent most of our shopping time in Austin's trendy South Congress area. There are a plethora of really awesome shops. There's a great combination of vintage, thrift, art, and yummy foods. Check it.
Allen's. I bought a beautiful pair of cowboy boots here (love).
Hill Country Weavers for my fellow knitters!
This place is rad! They even wind your yarn for you!
Maya Star a very cute boutique.
Oh and Cupcakes
Y'all. Peter Pan Putt Putt. So Fun. Especially because I won. I never beat Viet at anything!
Each year in November for two weekends, artists throughout Austin open their doors for the East Austin Studio Tour. We lucked out that it was going on while we were there. It was a true treat to see so much local Austin art.
I loved this cute shop called take heart on the tour. I bought several cute ornaments and a little bud vase.
If you've never been to Austin before, you must go see a move at the Alamo Drafthouse. It's the best! You can order cocktails and food while you watch the movie! I highly recommend it.
There you have it. That's an overview of our favorite attractions in Austin. We can't wait to go back.
