>When I read this prompt, the first thing that came to my mind was this blog.
This blog nourishes my soul.
I’ve thought a lot lately about why I blog.
When I started this blog almost two years ago, I was in a space where the the three previous years had blinked past me in a flash, and I had very few pictures and very few tangible ways to look back and admire or reflect upon them.
I didn’t want the years to just whir past. I wanted to remember what I ate, where I went, what I listened to, and what I saw. I wanted to remember what I dreamed of and how I felt and how the world seemed.
And somehow in the midst of all that wanting, I decided that blogging would be the best way for me to capture all those things.
At the end of the day, this job is not my livelihood. I have a full-time job that is full-filling and challenging.
Really, this blog is about me finding my way towards a fuller life (as I conceive of it). It keeps me accountable and, in many ways, actually helps me to catalog my inspirations and dreams.
When I think about what will nourish my soul in 2013, a lot of listmaking comes to mind. I want to blog about all the things I want to experience and learn. And not just in a broad, ambiguous way. I want to write about the specifics.
