me and the hubs last night on our first married Valentines Day
smiling from last night’s Valentines adventure. There were no flowers or gifts. Instead we had 1 card between us, 7 chocolate macarons, and a 7pm showing of Good Day to Die Hard. Absolutely epic. I laughed the entire evening. We kick romance’s ass.
dreaming of travel to cobblestoned places. Places built of stone with outdoor cafes and street musicians. Places where you can buy fresh baked bread on the corner. Places where smart phones get no bars. Places where you only buy wine by the bottle (as opposed to the glass). In this dream, I have nowhere to be except there.
planning to put on my dancing shoes over the next few days to video some line dances for my I Think I Can Campaign!! Three line dances coming up!
reading Divergent, my book of the month. I’m only a few chapters in, but I’m intrigued. I’m trying not to get my expectations too high (I’ve heard the series described as the next Hunger Games), but I’m enjoying it so far.
listening to this album on repeat.
nurturing a big idea and actually writing out a plan for what that idea would really look like. The act of taking a fuzzy ball of soft edged fragments and writing them out into outlines is so empowering. I should do this more often.
appreciating all the amazing new blogger friends I met at Alt. I was so thrilled to feature Joy yesterday as my first blog crush. I feel so much more connected and a part of a community now. There really is no substitute to making friends in person. And to continue in that vein, I’m . . .
counting down the days until Camp Mighty! After hearing rave reviews from many past attendees I signed up this week. You should come too!
thinking about how much I love three day weekends! Tomorrow we are heading up to Napa to visit the hub’s family to celebrate Tết, and the rest of the weekend I hope to do lots of relaxing and reading.
Happy Friday Friends,
