Now then, I can’t properly say goodbye to July without finishing up the recaps from our trip, can I?! In case you missed them, you can still catch up on our trip recaps: Our trip via Instagram, My Ten Favorites from Paris, and Nguyening in the French Riviera: Part 1.
I’m afraid I have so many pictures from Nice and St. Paul de Vence-our last two stops in the French Rivera. I’ve whittled them down as much as I can bear, but thank you in advance for indulging me.
Oh Nice! What a charming and lively city.
I’m sure the city is always fairly lively, but it was extra so while we there thanks to the Tour de France trials. Here are a few of our favorite moments:
*Walking up (most of the way) to the waterfall:
*Chagall Museum (one of my favorite musuems from the trip)
*Nice Old Town Flower Market
Saint Paul de Vence was the last stop on our French trip before we headed to Dublin. After Paris, St. Paul de Vence was the most romantic place we visited in France. Nestled high in the hills, this tiny medieval town is filled with its own special magic.
Viet had everything planned for our day and evening here. We stayed in a gorgeous suite overlooking the valley at Le Saint Paul, and we had dinner on their restaurant on the terrace (if you followed along with our travels on Instagram, this is the restaurant where we ate next to Rod Stewart!). Like I mentioned in my earlier recaps, we used mileage to pay for almost all of our accomodations during our trip, but this night was our one big hotel/dinner splurge.
Check back this afternoon for some highlights from our time in Dublin.
