Nice list! I’ll have to try the ones I haven’t been to yet.
I have two favorites in the city you didn’t mention. The first is Bistro Central Parc: http://www.bistrocentralparc.com/CentralParc/About_Us.html. This is my go-to place when I’m longing for french bistro food.
The other is Nopalito: http://www.nopalitosf.com. I’ve been here several times and every time it’s different – but always delicious. They refer to themselves as a sustainable organic Mexican kitchen. Give them a try!

Our list is pretty limited being East Bay folks but our faves right now are: Tuba – Turkish food in the Mission, Ichi – AMAZING sushi and sashimi, and Dosa – Indian.

Hey TC! Nice! I’ve got Dosa on my full list (linked in the post), but I haven’t tried Tuba or Ichi! Can’t wait! Thanks so much 😉

I’m a huge fan of Foreign Cinema too, not just for the food but the whole dining experience there.
One of the great things about the San Francisco food scene is the diversity. You can find almost any style of food, any culture, any price point. It’s a wonderful city for anyone with a sense of culinary exploration.

I completely agree about FC. Our friends had their wedding reception their, and it was the absolute best.

Oh man, I think I’ve only been to one of these; looks like I need to dine out more! Gabe and I really like Tonys Pizza and Chubby Noodle (both in North Beach).
