Oh September. You were such a beautiful, amazing, and powerfully difficult month. Our lives changed forever on the 17th when we said goodbye to Viet’s dad. There were lots of happy times and unexpected times over the course of this month.
There are many September goals that fell to the wayside this month and many goals that I never even imagined I had that I accomplished. Those are my newest, most favorite types of non-goal goals–the ones you never knew you should have had (Check!).
As my Golden year starts to come to a close (October is the last month!), I’m soaking in all that this project has helped me to accomplish and focusing in on what I want next year to look like. I can’t believe my birthday is just a month away, but if nothing else, I’m going to be so ready to say hello to Thirty.
Here’s looking at you, September:
*I was totally crushing on this month’s Blog Crush: Hello Cupcake. I mean, look at those shoes!
*I got to play tourist in San Francisco with my cousin for a weekend had such a fun time experiencing the city with them.
*I had my very first professional photo shoot yesterday with the incredibly awesome, Elizabeth Hurley. More on this soon! This picture was snapped by my bud Melissa (during a little side iphone shenanigans with this awesome headpiece made by our friend Stace). My extremely talented friend, Tara, did my makeup, and I can’t wait to show you the photos from Beth.
*To top things off, last night Not Merely Hubs and I had dinner with one of my favorite college professors and her husband at the delicious Zero Zero. It was such a nice treat to catch up and spend time with someone who had such a tremendous impact on my life.
Thank you again for everyone’s support this month. You helped us make it through.
See you tomorrow, October!
