Y’all, it’s October. It’s the very last month in my Golden Year, and I’m excited. This year has sped past me, and I can’t believe I’m about to have another birthday. The year has been Golden awesome magic, and it’s been hard, and trying, and so filled with growth.
And I’m ready to get a little older. I’m ready for a new year.
and you know what? I’m ready in spite the fact that I probably won’t check off everything from my 30 Before 30 list, and I probably won’t feel totally confident and awesome about getting older. I’ll probably still feel like I”m not quite an adult, like I’m still learning to be me, like I’m still striving towards a calmer sense of this daily state of moving forward and standing still. But that’s ok. I like being in a constant state of change and growth.
Next year I’m going to be easier on myself and open for new adventures. I’m going to be committed to being the best me I am even when she’s not the best I could be.
But before I get to my birthday resolutions, let’s say hello to October.
Without further ado,
Read (book of the month): A Hologram for the King by Dave Eggers. Still working on this guy.
You’ll notice I left a few goals out. There’s so much going on this month that I want to focus on my 30 Before 30 items and on transitioning to a new site.
What are your goals for October?
