My six words from Camp Mighty
*Stressing over some pretty big news: We’re moving!!! That’s right. Two weeks from now we’ll be in a bigger and better apartment upstairs. Although we’ll miss our dear friends Amit and Casey when they move into their sweet new place, we’re also excited to move into the beautiful bigger apartment upstairs (it even comes with parking!!).
*Loving the idea of settling in upstairs and decorating! Get ready for some major interior design inspiration around here.
*Buzzing with excitement over Camp Mighty after returning home yesterday. I can’t wait to tell you alllllll about it. Stay tuned for recaps this week.
*Reading A Hologram for the King. Slowly but surely. I really love Dave Eggers, but this book is moving pretty slowly for me.
*Feeling grateful for my husband for being awesome just because and for making some mean short ribs last night as a welcome home dinner.
*Watching The Good Wife obsessively. I’m watching season two now, and I can’t get enough.
*Preparing to turn 30(!) next week. Let’s do this. I’m going to kick the sh*t out of the next decade.
*Appreciating all the amazing women I met and hung out with over the course of the past four days. More on them and their awesomeness later, but I’m feeling so very grateful for their radness and kindness (Amy, Camille, Capree, Carina, Caroline, Chelsey, Jackie, Kelly, Kim, Moorea, and Nicole- you really rock) .
*Craving Caramel Corn! I got my grandpa’s recipe recently, and I’m hoping to make it in the next week. I promise I’ll share his secrets. 😉
*Trying to brainstorm the perfect halloween costume to wear to work. Does anyone have any ideas for a good fruit costume?
*Waiting with great anticipation for Not Merely Living’s new site redesign to go live! Lisa has finalized the design, and we’re moving into phase two. I’m can’t wait for the new site to launch.
*Celebrating the return of my camera! David at Camera Heaven in San Francisco worked magic on my broken DSLR, and I can’t wait to start taking pictures again!
