Every now and again I get offers from people who want to send me their products so that I can feature them here on Not Merely Living. Obviously, I love free stuff as much as the next girl, but only if it’s my kinda free stuff. In the past, the majority of the products I’ve been offered have been the sort that I wouldn’t necessarily like or wear, so I’ve had to politely pass.
But when Leela from LeeMo Designs emailed me a few weeks ago, I was immediately intrigued. Two of my favorite things in the world are origami and jewelry. So when she wrote that she made origami earrings, I immediately had to check our her work. I was so excited when I received these lovely earrings from Leela in the mail. They are high quality, unique, and so bright and fun. They’re the type of earrings that just cheer you up as soon as you see them in the mirror.
I love supporting makers this time of year. I try to fit as many craft shows as possible into my holiday shopping so that I can support artists who are creating handmade gifts, and Leela’s earrings would be a great gift for many of the ladies I need to buy for this season. I’m so stoked about LeeMo, in fact, I think I may even start a new Makers Gotta Make series where I feature Makers whose products I really love and want to share.
Here are my new LeeMo earrings in action:
Leela has a lovely collection of earrings on her etsy shop, and they’re all very reasonably priced (around ~$30 a pair). Here are some of my faves that are up now:
I love, love, love how Leela has turned paper folding into fashion!! So good.
Thanks so much to Leela for sending me a pair of her rad earrings. If you’re still looking for a few gifts this season, make sure to check out her etsy shop.
*All opinions in this post are definitely my own. The lovely first pair of earrings was generously donated to me by Leela without any obligation to feature on my site.
