We have a lot to celebrate at the Nguyen house:
I became an aunt for the third time. Saturday evening, my brother and sister-in-law welcomed their third precious baby boy into the world.
I received the most thoughtful gift from my friend Shap. She drew out some of the most epic moments in our friendship and sent them to me in the mail. Brilliant.
The Niners beat the Panthers and are headed to the NFC Championship to play the Seahawks. Woo!
We said goodbye to 2013 at work with our belated holiday bowling party friday evening, and even though I bowled 75% gutters, we had a blast.
We almost cleaned out the entire office. I spent literally fourteen hours on Saturday sorting and purging, and it feels so good.
The weather was glorious in San Francisco this weekend.
Life felt magical like it always does when we go to the Castro theater. We saw Gravity with some friends & coworkers. I loved the movie, but I have to admit I’ve never been so tense at a movie before. That movie is in-tense.
Oh, and we did the laundry and put it all away. Sometimes it’s important to celebrate the little things too.
Happy Monday, y’all. I can tell already that I’m going to like 2014.
What are the big or little things you’re celebrating right now?
