*Knitting a new project. More details soon. I’m loving knitting something a bit larger than anything I’ve done before.
*Reading Flight Behavior by Barbara Kingsolver. I’m just getting into it, but it seems the perfect mixture of magic and intrigue.
*Eating a lot more yogurt and granola. I’ve finally figured out the perfect granola recipe (I’ll share the recipe on Wednesday), and it’s suddenly helped me to realize that I like yogurt.
*Preparing for our dear friends Bridget and Will (and their sweet son Oscar) who are coming to stay with us this week. I can’t believe we get a whole week with them.
*Feeling lucky that I got to catch up with my good friend Shap yesterday. She’s a breath of joy and laughter, and I’m lucky to have her in my life.
*Nguyening. We spent this past weekend celebrating the wedding of my brother in law and his new wife, and I was once again reminded that family is something so much more than just blood. My husband’s family is so loving and supportive, and I am very grateful to be a part of it.
*Anticipating our very first card party!!! This Friday we’ll be gathering our closest friends together to play cards, and I can’t wait. We’re hoping this will become a monthly tradition.
*Reorganizing our office and making big plans for new furniture.
*Looking forward to participating in Sometimes Sweet’s Journaling project. Join along!
What are you up to Currently?
*Loving my dear friend Tiffany from afar and celebrating the birth of her two precious new baby girls! Counting the days until I get to meet them.
