And woosh. . . just like that another month of 2014 is almost past us.
May, I’m going to look back on you
as the first month that I felt fully preggers. . .
as the month I got the big promotion (did I mention to you guys that I got it?!). . .
as the month when we finally started making progress on our pre-bean to-dos (registry-check! nursery planning-check!). . .
as the month when I got my baby shower invitation in the mail (what a feeling). . .
as the month when everything seemed to align in a crazy, cosmic sort of way. And you may have noticed that I haven’t been as consistent about blogging. My Sunday posts have disappeared entirely, and I haven’t been as punctual as usual. But I hope you’ll forgive me, and I hope you won’t stop reading. Because I’m going to try to stay committed to blogging, but I also want to give myself a bit of a break when life gets in the way.
Here’s a look back at May:

52 Card Games Project
I slacked a little on the project this month, but I still shared three awesome card games for the 52 Card Games project.
I’ll give myself a four out of five on this month’s goals. 1. Our travels were awesome. I’m not just saying that. We both were actually able to leave our work behind and enjoy being together. 2. I ate more greens. Mostly salads at lunch and lots of Kale. 3. I SET up our baby registry!!! woo!! I basically copied our registry from my mom friends, but that still counts. 4. We have celebrated the heck out of these kicks, y’all. I didn’t feel them until I hit 21 weeks, but then I did and woo, they hit me like a bang. 5. Make something. Welllll, this could be broadly interepreted. I didn’t have time to really make any of the things that have been stalling on my making list.
Four out of five isn’t that bad!
Here’s looking at you, May!
