Sorry I was MIA yesterday (and Sunday). I’m trying to give myself a bit of a break when it comes to blogging. I think I’ve decided that when life gets in the way of blogging, I’m just going to let it. I promise I’ll always make it up to you.
Normally I like to share something pregnancy related on Tuesdays, so this is a glimpse of what it was like to be pregnant in Vegas via my phone pics and instagram. I’ll sum it up for you: shopping, sunshine, and ice cream. Sunscreen was critical. It wasn’t very smokey at all (like I had feared). Maxi dresses remain my favoritest maternity wear, and everything tasted even better than normal.
We had such a fun time. I love going to Vegas with the group, but there’s nothing like being there just the two of us. We have all of our favorite spots and routines, and we just enjoy being together. Here are some of my favorites from this weekend:

We stayed at the Palazzo this weekend (the Venetian’s newer sister casino). All the rooms are gorgeous suites. Just don’t play blackjack there. They just updated all of their tables to only pay 6-5 on a blackjack (which means you don’t win as much when you get a blackjack=super lame). The Bellagio is also a lovely place to stay (and their blackjack tables are rad).
To eat >>
Mon Ami Gabi (the tried and true at Paris): You can’t go wrong here. We eat here at least once every time we visit. I love to sit outside at for brunch and watch the fountain show across the street at the Bellagio.
Wolf Gang Puck Bar & Grill (MGM): We had dinner here on Sunday. The pizza was perfection.
Milos (Cosmopolitan): Our new favorite find! We had the lunch prix fixe ($22!), and it was out of this world. If you like greek food, you should definitely check this place out.
Jean Georges Steakhouse (Aria): We had a delicious steak dinner Saturday night with an even more amazing dessert (I had a warm chocolate cake and Viet had “the best cheesecake he’s ever had.”
Jean Phillip Patisserie (one at Bellagio and one at Aria that I know of): Best ice cream I’ve had in the longest time (Stracciatella), and I’ve been eating a lot of ice cream lately. I had one scoop before the show on Saturday and one after. 😉
