I have to confess something that may be pretty obvious: I have less time to blog these days.
Between being a partner, friends, work, travel, growing a human and preparing our lives to welcome said human, the time that I used to have for thoughtful writing, crafting and cooking just doesn’t seem to materialize in the same ways it did before.
I know that this is life, and most days I’m ok with the flow of things just shifting. But today I just wanted to say that I’m still committed to writing.
This space means a lot to me, and even though I make lots of mistakes and I don’t always live up to my own expectations (here or in the world), it’s nice to have a space to come back to where I can share all my aspirations and record my brightest (and most challenging) moments.
I’ll always keep aspiring to tell the story. to document. to dream. to live more fully and presently.
Documenting the days and writing out my dreams is exactly what helps me to live more fully and presently.
So, I know I’m rambling a bit, but I just wanted to say that I am a little unsure about where NML is going with all the other wonderful and crazy things going on my life, but no matter what I’ll be here writing in some way or another as long as I’m still personally trying to stay inspired and live more vibrantly.
So what are my hopes for this space?
I would like to write more personal stories and essays here.
I’d like to continue to document my pregnancy.
I’d like to share stories and images of the bean after she joins us.
I’d like to share my journey as a parent.
I’d like to keep crafting and creating and sharing those endeavors.
I’d like to keep playing (cards and other games).
I’d like to keep goal setting and reflecting.
I have to keep taking pictures, learning how to take better pictures, and sharing them.
These are my dreams for you, NML.
Thank you to each and every one of you for reading and supporting this little space. Your time is precious, and your being here matters greatly to me. So, thank you.
