This week you ate Kale for the first time, visited Napa for the first time, and rode in your stroller like a big girl for the first time.
It was mother’s day for me for the first time, and I held you and just felt so lucky that I get to be your mom.
I love you, my dear girl. I love our quiet mornings together (you- in your highchair, me- getting ready). I love our bedtime routines (the bath and book and lullabies). I love the feeling of your soft cheek against mine.
Your whole life is stretched out in front of you like a grand adventure, and I get to help set the stage (I’m like a life tour guide! woo!).
You are so loved, my Beanshine, always,
