Ok. I know I’m a bit behind on your letters, but I’ve got a good excuse. . . we’ve been traveling! and life is crazy, but even though I haven’t been as consistent with these letters, I sure do love you, my little man.
You’re two months old now!
The last two weeks you and I have been having some grand adventures, and we’re getting to know each other better every day. We took our first cross country flight, and you were an angel.
You got to meet your grandpa, your aunt and uncles, your great grandparents, great-aunts and great uncles!
It’s hard to describe, but I swear my love for you just keeps growing every day. As you get bigger, I continued to be impressed by your sweet, calm spirit. You are my little zen master. You keep me centered and present just by being you.
It’s a spiritual thing, the connection between mother and child. Although we’re connected in some deep, inexplicable way, we’re just slowly beginning to get to know one another.
You’re filling out and your personality is really starting to shine.
You prefer to take your day naps in the middle of our bed over your bassinet. Your neck is getting stronger, and you’re starting to talk.
You love it when people talk to you. You start smiling and cooing. I have a feeling you’re going to be a great listener.
You’re my little star.
You are so loved, my dear August, always,
